Hur man stickar en lös del av en framkant till kofta separat

I denna DROPS video visar vi hur man stickar en del av den lösa framkanten separat, för att sedan sy fast den på framstycket efteråt. Vi har redan stickat halskanten i resår med ett knapphål och 5 stolpmaskor i varje sida. Dessa kantmaskor stickas i RÄTSTICKNING och sätts på en maskhållare. Det läggs upp en ny maska i varje sida, som senare ska maskas av = kantmaska som stickas i rätstickning. Oket stickas i slätstickning och det ökas enligt mönster. Därefter stickas de lösa framkanterna till riktigt mått innan de sättes ihop med oket, då avmaskas också kantmaskan. Kom ihåg att maska av för knapphål.
Sy fast framkanterna fint innanför 1 kantmaska på oket.
Vi använder garnet DROPS Snow i videon.
En sådan framkant görs i koftan «Scent of pine Jacket» i DROPS 215-7, du hittar mönster genom att klicka på bilden under.

Was also mostly think about how to manage the pattern when knitting back and forth. Reading the pattern I think I will have the white yarn on the wrong side many times. Do you work with multiple yarn buns to make the pattern work?

Dear Mrs Lakso, this technique can be used when the piece is worked in another pattern as the front band stitches or when the front band stitches will be worked afterwards with another colour/pattern - garter stitch also tends to tighten piece in height, in that case, you will avoid this since you will work the garter stithch piece separately. You can sometimes work 2 rows from the same side, ie 2 rows from RS (or from WS) each row with a different colour. to avoid cutting yarn. Happy knitting! 07.12.2021 - 07:39
